Meet Mike

Mike Noone is a prominent Chester County attorney with over two decades of experience handling some of the highest profile criminal cases in the region. As a dedicated criminal defense attorney, he has served as the lead attorney in multiple murder investigations, including those involving the death penalty. In addition to this, he has played a vital role in coordinating investigations into all sexual assault and elder abuse cases in Chester County. Recognized as a leading expert on the heroin and opioid epidemic, Mike has conducted and supervised numerous grand jury investigations concerning homicides, drug organizations, and public corruption. With extensive trial experience as a former prosecutor, he now focuses on providing legal representation for individuals charged with crimes and those who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others, ensuring quality personal injury representation. When you need experience, you can rely on Mike.

Mike began his legal career at a Philadelphia law firm, where he represented individuals and companies in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court. He later served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, successfully prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases, including murder, attempted murder, rape, aggravated assault, drug delivery and distribution, elder abuse, theft, home invasion robbery, sexual assault, animal abuse, and DUI.

After his tenure as Assistant District Attorney and prior to returning as First Assistant, Mike practiced in private law in West Chester, focusing on criminal defense and personal injury representation. Here, he provided legal representation for clients charged with various offenses in both state and federal court. His diverse clientele included doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers, executives, law enforcement officials, business owners, and citizens from various backgrounds. He also represented individuals who were injured due to the negligence of others.

From 2012 to 2019, Mike served as the First Assistant District Attorney, acting as the second in command of the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. He supervised and trained a team of approximately 100 prosecutors, detectives, and staff members dedicated to investigating and prosecuting criminal cases in Chester County. His responsibilities included overseeing criminal trial teams, managing the juvenile unit, coordinating investigations and prosecutions of adult sexual assault and elder abuse cases, and serving as co-chair of the Chester County Overdose Prevention Task Force. Mike was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Elder Abuse Task Force.

He implemented best practices to uphold the integrity of the criminal justice system, focusing on key topics such as eyewitness identifications, officer-involved shooting investigations, and witness interviews.

Throughout his career, Mike has delivered hundreds of presentations on vital issues including drug abuse, the opioid epidemic, sexual assault investigations, elder abuse, trial advocacy, media relations, and various elements of the criminal justice system. He was instrumental in developing and teaching the trial advocacy program for all new prosecutors in the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.

Mike graduated as valedictorian from Wilkes University and earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law, where he was the Chairperson of the Moot Court Board.
